I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free

My name is Julie Harris.
There is nothing I love to do more than play piano and sing.  When my fingers dance across the keys and I open my mouth to sing praises- this is when I feel the presence of the Lord.  It is my greatest joy to share my songs and stories with you!

I sing because I’m happy

I sing because I’m free

His eye is on the sparrow,

and I know He watches me!

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;

I will sing praise to my God while I have being. Psalm 104:33

*Julie Harris is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has been the Worship Pastor at Charlottesville First Church of the Nazarene since 2009.  She graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in vocal music education in 1999, and also teaches piano and voice lessons.  Julie loves writing music, preaching, teaching, and thrift store shopping.
